Scooby-Doo cartoon character

Scooby-Doo is a long-running American series produced since 1969. It is based on the idea of William Hannah and Joseph Barbera. The original series, "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?", Was invented for Hannah-Barbera by screenwriters Joe Ruby and Ken Spears and character designer Iwao Takamoto.

Hannah-Barbera produced a number of secondary series and productions until she merged with Warner Bros. in 1997, which has since taken over the production. Although the format and composition of the show have changed significantly over the years, the most famous versions feature a talking dog named Scooby-Doo and four teenagers: Fred "Freddie" Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Norville "Shaggy" Rodgers.

Scooby, Shaggy and friends first appeared from the Hannah-Barbera animation studio in the 1960s and quickly gained popularity. This popularity lasted over time thanks to several new versions of the animation and despite the dubious success of the feature film in 2002 and the following two years later.

Currently, Warner Bros. They want a new full-length adaptation of Scooby, this time fully animated. However, the project is rescheduled for May 15, 2020 - 2 years after the originally announced the date of September 21, 2018. Charles Rowan and Richard Suckle, who worked on feature films, are returning to a team of renowned experts in the world of animation.

After the hesitant success of feature films, it may indeed be better for the franchise to return to the "painted" format. Although the delay can be frustrating, from Warner Bros. don't worry, the popularity of the characters will wane by then. If the studio has time to finish the animation and casting the right actors to voice the roles, the delay will be absolutely worth it.
